My Next Three Projects: What’s Coming Next?

With Cursed Gift now out in the world and continuing to gain traction, I’ve been shifting my focus to what’s next on my creative horizon. I’m thrilled to share that there are not one but three exciting projects currently in the works. Each one holds a special place in my heart and represents different aspects of my life, interests, and collaborations. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

1. Book 2 in the Cursed Gift Series

The journey of Cursed Gift is far from over. In this second installment, I’ll be diving deeper into the mysterious world of sensers and glowers. This book will explore not only the origins of their powers but also the hidden depths of those abilities—powers far stronger and more dangerous than anyone could have imagined. Expect new characters, intriguing plot twists, and a much more expansive world as we uncover the secrets of “The Gift.” If you’ve been wondering where it all began and what lies ahead for these characters, you won’t want to miss it!

2. A Collection of Stories with Tony Metcalfe

One of my favorite new ventures is a collaborative project with my long-time great friend and fellow chess enthusiast, Tony Metcalfe. Together, we’re crafting a series of stories inspired by our chess careers and the life lessons they taught us along the way. These tales are a blend of humor, heartbreak, tragedy, and, occasionally, a bit of the absurd. Whether it’s about triumphs on the chessboard or moments of sheer human vulnerability, this collection will be as much about life as it is about the game we love. For chess fans, storytellers, or anyone who appreciates a good laugh (or cry), this one’s for you.

3. A Sci-Fi Collaboration with Melissa Bishop

Finally, I’m thrilled to be collaborating with the incredibly talented author Melissa Bishop on an ambitious sci-fi novel. Melissa brings her unique voice and experience, and together, we’re aiming to create a story that’s as thought-provoking as it is thrilling. Collaborating with someone as inspiring as Melissa is both exciting and humbling, and I can’t wait to share this story with you.

Each of these projects reflects a different part of my creative spirit, and I’m so excited to bring them to life. Stay tuned for more updates as these stories take shape!

Till next time,
Len
