A Sneak Peek: Book 2

What does one do after publishing the first book in a series, while marketing and writing continue nearly every day? Naturally, start planning Book 2 of The Cursed Gift series, of course!

Recently, my longtime friend Ken visited me here in Western New York. We found ourselves seated in the back of a cozy steakhouse, eyeing a massive 28 oz porterhouse that we knew would last us a couple of days. Over that meal, I shared some of my initial ideas for the second book with Ken. At first, he was reluctant to dive in (I suspect the steak was demanding most of his attention), but eventually, he warmed up and ended up giving me a mountain of ideas I could barely keep up with.

It was exhilarating—Ken was on a roll, and so was I! What started as a casual chat quickly escalated into plot twists, international intrigue, and even a hint of alternate history. I kept emailing myself notes to make sure I didn’t lose track of all the ideas.

As for Book 2 itself, here’s a little hint: The story dives deeper into the origins of the gift, revealing who else might be part of this mysterious legacy. New characters will make an appearance, and some exciting plot lines will unfold. I’m thrilled about where this story arc is headed, and I hope you’ll be just as excited to read it!
